Awareness - In Memoriam - Biography

Patricia (Pat) Tomaselli, 63, long-term METAvivor Director of Support, passed away October 4, 2011 after a 4.5 year battle with metastatic breast cancer. A 14-year resident of Annapolis MD, Pat was former Chairman of both the Security Committee of the Aerospace Industries Association and the National Defense Industry Association. She also served as Sector Director of Security for Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems. In 2007 she was awarded the Donald Woodbridge Award -- one of the highest individual honors in the Security Industry; and in 2009 won Northrop Grumman's highest honor -- the Chairman's Award, for her support of three employees held captive in Colombia for 5.5 years.. Pat is survived by daughters Tabetha Bokovoy and Tara Masterson; grandchildren Kya Masterson, Kestrel Carr and Spencer Bokovoy; and brothers Hugh and Dennis Blake and Frank DeSabio. Pat and her family requested that donations in her honor be made to METAvivor.
