Stage IV Stampede

The METAvivor Stage IV Stampede is our signature annual advocacy event designed to raise attention to the needs of the metastatic breast cancer community. The Stampede brings together patients, caregivers, and supporters, including family members, friends, and those who have lost a loved one to metastatic breast cancer. During the 2023 Stampede, we will be advocating in-person in Washington DC to advance Stage IV, metastatic cancer research and improve access to quality healthcare and benefits for individuals impacted by MBC.

In this series, we work with leading cancer advocacy groups to offer advice and assistance to individuals across various cancer types, as well as their caregivers, advocates, and health care professionals.

Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness, Research and Support

Our lives and experiences differ from the traditional cancer survivor, so we refer to ourselves as METAvivors. We are a thriving community of people living against the odds every day, fighting for the research that could save our lives, raising awareness of the issues facing us, and offering support to patients.
